Overview
The Fukutoshin Line (F) links Wakoshi and Shibuya over about 20.2 km and 16 stations. Opened in 2008, it's the youngest member of the Tokyo Metro family, its dark-brown trains connecting the twin "sub-centers" of Shibuya and Ikebukuro.
Along the route
The line passes Higashi-shinjuku, Shinjuku-sanchome, and Meiji-jingumae, through-running with the Tokyu Toyoko Line at Shibuya all the way to the Minatomirai Line toward Yokohama — the line that literally put the "fukutoshin" (sub-center) concept on the map.
Why play it
As the newest subway line, its stations feel modern and its names carry a contemporary ring — great for players who enjoy a "new line" feel.

How much typing is this?
Typing every station name on this line takes 186 keystrokes, an average of 11.6 per station. The longest name is 地下鉄成増 (chikatetsu-narimasu) at 18 keystrokes; the shortest is 千川 (senkawa) at 7. Those counts come from running each name's kana through the game's own romaji engine, so they are what your fingers actually do — not the length of the printed spelling.
Along the way: 0 names contain a small っ, which doubles the next consonant; 3 contain a small ゃ, ゅ or ょ, where the engine accepts both the Hepburn and Kunrei spellings (sha or sya, shu or syu); and 0 end in ん, whose trailing n folds into whatever comes next rather than standing alone.

Marked with a star: 池袋・渋谷 — the major interchanges, which the maps always label and the game marks with a heavier arrival stamp.
