The Chitose Line main line connects Shiroishi and Numanohata. This game includes all 14 passenger stations on that section, including the local stops that rapid airport trains pass. The representative vehicle is JR Hokkaido's silver-and-green 733 series.
Which section is included?
The route passes Shin-Sapporo, Kita-Hiroshima, Eniwa and Chitose before reaching Minami-Chitose, Uenae and Numanohata. The branch from Minami-Chitose to New Chitose Airport is a separate route and is not included here. Through-running to Sapporo and Tomakomai is also outside this playable section. The official station numbers therefore jump from H14 to H16.
At Shiroishi, change to the Hakodate Line. JR Shiroishi and the subway station called Shiroishi are different places and are kept separate. Shin-Sapporo connects with the subway's 新さっぽろ, whose written name differs.
Read the name before typing
長都 is おさつ, 植苗 is うえなえ, and 沼ノ端 is ぬまのはた. サッポロビール庭園 combines a doubled consonant, a long vowel and a kanji ending. Practise the readings in Romaji or Kana mode, then try the written forms in Kanji mode. Both directions cover the same 14 stations.
Line data
Everything below is derived from the station data the game runs on, so it always matches what you actually type on the 千歳線(白石〜沼ノ端) — all 14 stops of it.

How much typing is this?
Typing every station name on this line takes 131 keystrokes, an average of 9.4 per station. The longest name is サッポロビール庭園 (sapporo-biru-teien) at 18 keystrokes; the shortest is 平和 (heiwa) at 5. Those counts come from running each name's kana through the game's own romaji engine, so they are what your fingers actually do — not the length of the printed spelling.
Along the way: 3 names contain a small っ, which doubles the next consonant; 0 contain a small ゃ, ゅ or ょ, where the engine accepts both the Hepburn and Kunrei spellings (sha or sya, shu or syu); and 1 end in ん, whose trailing n folds into whatever comes next rather than standing alone.
Where you can change trains
2 of the 14 stations on this line connect to another line in the game. Follow any symbol to that line's guide.
