Overview
The Nippori-Toneri Liner (NT), opened in 2008, connects Nippori with Minumadai-Shinsuikoen over about 9.7 km and 13 stations. It is a Toei-run automated guideway transit line: driverless rubber-tyred trains on an elevated guideway, with front-row seats that look straight down the track — a rare "driver's view" ride in Tokyo.
Along the route
From Nippori, where JR and Keisei meet, the liner heads north via Nishi-Nippori and crosses the Toei Arakawa tram at Kumanomae. It then vaults the wide channels of the Sumida and Arakawa rivers around Adachi-odai and Ogi-ohashi, where the view suddenly opens up. Past Nishiarai-daishi-nishi and Yazaike it settles into the residential north of Adachi Ward, ending at Minumadai-Shinsuikoen near the Saitama border.
Why play it
At 13 stations this is one of the shortest runs in the game — a couple of minutes per attempt, ideal for warming up or grinding a personal best. The finale, "minumadai-shinsuikoen", still makes you earn it.

How much typing is this?
Typing every station name on this line takes 146 keystrokes, an average of 11.2 per station. The longest name is 見沼代親水公園 (minumadai-shinsuikoen) at 22 keystrokes; the shortest is 高野 (koya) at 5. Those counts come from running each name's kana through the game's own romaji engine, so they are what your fingers actually do — not the length of the printed spelling.
Along the way: 3 names contain a small っ, which doubles the next consonant; 1 contain a small ゃ, ゅ or ょ, where the engine accepts both the Hepburn and Kunrei spellings (sha or sya, shu or syu); and 2 end in ん, whose trailing n folds into whatever comes next rather than standing alone.
Where you can change trains
3 of the 13 stations on this line connect to another line in the game. Follow any symbol to that line's guide.
