Overview
The Yurakucho Line (Y) links Wakoshi and Shin-kiba over about 28.3 km and 24 stations. Its low-key gold-bronze trains run through-service with two private railways, the Tobu Tojo Line and the Seibu Yurakucho Line.
Along the route
The line passes Ikebukuro, Iidabashi, and Ginza-itchome on its way out toward the waterfront sub-center at Toyosu and Shin-kiba — a key link between inland residential areas and the redeveloped bayside district, made busier still by the Toyosu Market relocation.
Why play it
A wide spread of station-name lengths and cross-operator through-running give it a distinct "border-crossing" feel — a great line for experiencing seamless private-rail/subway transfers.

How much typing is this?
Typing every station name on this line takes 254 keystrokes, an average of 10.6 per station. The longest name is 地下鉄成増 (chikatetsu-narimasu) at 18 keystrokes; the shortest is 豊洲 (toyosu) at 6. Those counts come from running each name's kana through the game's own romaji engine, so they are what your fingers actually do — not the length of the printed spelling.
Along the way: 1 names contain a small っ, which doubles the next consonant; 5 contain a small ゃ, ゅ or ょ, where the engine accepts both the Hepburn and Kunrei spellings (sha or sya, shu or syu); and 1 end in ん, whose trailing n folds into whatever comes next rather than standing alone.

Marked with a star: 池袋 — the major interchanges, which the maps always label and the game marks with a heavier arrival stamp.
